Greetings for the director
Welcome to Saint Isabel-Franciscanes School in Sant Cugat del Vallès. Our school, the eldest one in the town, was created in 1879. It’s concerted by the Generalitat de Catalunya for Pre-school and Primary Education.
It has an important historical background, but at the same time, it takes in account our society needs. It provides the teachers the necessary training to become a learning and innovation model.
Once again the classrooms, corridors, playgrounds come alive with children who give sense to our daily work. Our community, formed by students, families, services workers, nuns, teachers and main ownership work altogether in order our school becomes a proper reality in the town.
Our wish is growing-up together, guide and walk with the pupils in their personal development and being part of a great family, our school.
It’s a responsibility to guide students to get prepared for the future society. A quite different society, for sure, where young boys and girls will have to face up new challenges.
We want the students become creative people, critical, who love and respect environment and quite capable to adapt themselves to continuous changes. We also want them to have a conciliatory and open attitude.
We really want to express gratitude to the whole school community for the effort that they do to make our educational project possible.
You can find all the information about our activities and services in the website. Please do not hesitate to visit our social networks, and very important, if you want to visit our school, I’ll be pleased to arrange an appointment and clear up your doubts, questions or suggestions.
Best regards,
Marta Pla Aguadé
